This committee is a community-based initiative formed by members of the Sudanese community, dedicated to serving families during times of loss. Its mission is to provide compassionate, dignified, and faith-based funeral services in accordance with Islamic teachings, while easing the emotional and financial burden on the bereaved.
Our Objectives:
To honor the deceased in accordance with Islamic principles and traditions.
To oversee and manage purchased burial plots.
To support grieving families, offering compassion and solidarity during their time of loss.
To organize and coordinate all funeral and burial procedures, including washing (Ghusl) and grave preparation.
To cover burial expenses for those who are financially unable to do so.
To organize periodic community fundraising campaigns (“Nafarat”) to secure funds for the purchase of burial plots.
Our Services:
Provision of a dedicated funeral transport vehicle.
prepare and operation of a Sharia-compliant washing facility.
Supply of shrouds (Kafan) and all necessary burial materials.
Grave digging, construction, and headstone preparation.
Writing and printing of headstones.
Arrangement of condolence halls for receiving guests.
Training and preparation of qualified male and female volunteers to perform Ghusl in accordance with the Sunnah.
